Domosys Corporation Partners with NgeeAnn Polytechnic for Training in Asia

Sainte-Foy, Quebec - July 13, 2000 - Domosys Corporation, a leading provider of power line communication technology for control networks, announces a partnership with Ngee Ann Polytechnic in Singapore to deliver training sessions covering Domosys technology and control networking in Asia.

Domosys chose to associate with NgeeAnn Polytechnic because of its strong academic reputation in the field of high technology. This partnership will provide Domosys with a privileged opportunity to extend the reach of its training courses, cumulatively known as DomoU™, to an Asian audience.

"Domosys and NgeeAnn have established the DomoU in Singapore to support the effective use of control networking technology over the power line medium in Asia", said Michel Viau, Vice-President Sales & Marketing. “This partnership ensures that future generations of engineers and technicians master these promising technologies. Our goal is to provide training sessions at least twice a year, to offer a better service to our Asian customers by sharing our expertise on power line.

The first DomoU session will be held at the Electrical Engineering Department in NgeeAnn Polytechnic between July 17-21. Two courses are offered: Introduction to CEBus® & Home Plug & Play™ and From Idea to Finished Product. The first session is targeted to users seeking to understand the basics of the CEBus standard and the Home Plug & Play specification, while the second session is geared towards developers wanting to rapidly acquire the ability to develop control network products based on the CEBus standard and the Home Plug & Play specification.

Future DomoU sessions will be offered at NgeeAnn Polytechnic on a bi-annual basis.
