A New Patent is Granted to Domosys.

Domosys Corporation, a leading provider of power line communication (PLC) technology, is proud to announce that the US Patent Office has granted the corporation with a new method patent. This patent, while increasing Domosys' intellectual property portfolio, demonstrates once again Domosys' network protocol expertise and leadership.

The patent no. US 7,272,635 B1 describes an innovative configuration method for typical Command & Control power line communication networks. More specifically, it identifies different mechanisms for a master–slave topology used in a discovery process when the master transmits its hailing message over the power line network. The patent further defines a network management process to monitor the connections between the various slaves as well as a different network management method used when a recovery operation is required.
