Domosys Hires Jean Chignac as Vice President of Sales – Europe, Middle East and Africa

Ex-Echelon sales executive to lead Domosys EMEA sales effort from new European office

Quebec City, QC– November 21, 2001 – Domosys Corporation announced today the appointment of Jean Chignac as Vice President of Sales – EMEA. Mr. Chignac will work out of the newly created European office in Bordeaux, France.

Mr. Chignac is an industry veteran with over 25 years of business development experience in European control network markets. He has served as a sales executive with Staeffa Controls and, until recently, Echelon Corporation. He has an Electronics Engineering degree from EFRI de Bordeaux.

Mr. Chignac will lead the EMEA sales efforts of Domosys' new PowerBus™ power line control networking technology. Domosys has identified Europe as a key market for this technology, as competing offerings do not meet the cost, reliability, and functionality requirements of European manufacturers and service providers. PowerBus combines all of the essential attributes for a versatile control networking technology, including low cost, no royalties, robust communications, multiple layers of security, a seamless interface to the Internet, and a foolproof interoperability model. The technology is embedded in a flash-based ASIC, the U-Chip™, developed by Domosys.
