Domosys Corporation signs agreement with Cornes & Co. for exclusive representation in Japan

Quebec City, Canada, January 25, 2000 - Domosys Corporation, a leading supplier of power line communication technology for control networks, announced today the signing of an exclusive representation agreement with Cornes & Company Limited covering the Japanese market. This agreement will make Domosys products and services more readily available in Japan, the largest market in Asia for this technology.

Located in Tokyo, and with offices in Osaka, Cornes & Co. has been doing business in Japan for almost 140 years. One of the oldest and most respected foreign owned trading firm, its activities span a broad range of products and services: aviation & defence equipment, electronics, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles and consumer goods.

Power line communication can be used for transmitting messages between devices within a Local Area Network (LAN) using existing electrical wiring. This technology is attractive in terms of low installation and unit costs. Japan is always looking for new technologies that can enhance its communication infrastructure. The compelling benefits of power line communication technology will greatly accelerate the deployment of electrical utility, commercial and residential control networks.

According to the terms of the agreement, and effective immediately, Cornes & Co. will represent all Domosys products and services in Japan, and process all orders from Japanese customers.
